But I have noticed that a lot of tall girls (not all) like to make shorter girls feel bad about themselves. Tall girls always seem to put short girls down. I’m pretty sure shorter girls are already self consious enough.
Why do they do this?

they think there tough,,and there not ..try it they will back down..
They might be insecure about their height.
I am your height and i have a friend who is 6 …something i don’t remember. But she is the nicest person and all of her friends are shorter than her.

because there taller &+ they like to intimadate smaller ppl coz they like to feel hard but they wont be feelin hard if one of the small girls kicks her *** haha x

Some tall girls are mean to short girls because they think they are bigger and better but not all tall girls are like that cause im tall and my best friend is 4′9″
Um I’ve never noticed that..? Maybe tall girls do it so they can feel better about themselves being freakin amazons. I love being 5′5.

Well I am a short girl (5′2″) and have never felt self conscious about being short and nor have I had any tall girls be mean to be for being short either. Actually a lot of tall girls tell me they wish they could be shorter. The most I get is my friends teasing me about being short as a joke.
I’ve never seen this, I’m like 5′4 and my friend is nearly 6ft and has never said anything mean, in fact, shed prefer to be shorter.

Because by being tall, they feel bigger and fuller of themselves, which gives them the advantage to pick on shorter ppl
because they’re jealous that we’re short and can look cute with any guy, whereas a girl who is 5′10″ would look like an idiot with her boyfriend who is 5′8″ .
i mean, i dont think i’ve found a guy shorter that 5′ who is at least 16. lol.

I’m 5′7″ so I’m considered to be a bit on the tall side. I don’t know what you mean, I’ve never seen that happen before.
well I’m 5′2 and one of my best friend shes 5′8 and she never makes me feel bad bout being short lol but the ones that do are properly very self conscious about their height as well and it makes them feel better.
Wow. Really? Never had that problem before. I’m 5′3 1/2 and I LOVE my height! I enjoy being short because its nice to be cuddled by guys, and for some reason it makes me feel cute. My guy loves my petite stature, and I would definitely never choose to be tall!
I’m in the middle like you, about 5′ 5 1/2. I do see girls being picked on because of their size though. The taller girls probably think that they have more ‘power’ over the smaller girls because they tower over them and make them scared or worried. Usually when someone is taller it makes it natural to be more cautious or scared of that person because most of the tall people are tough or strong or have more ‘back bone’ in them.
their jealous. a lot of guys prefer petite girls. i’m saying this not as a short girl either! i’m the same height as you and i think tall girls are sort of snobby too
I think you’re quite tall
I’m 5′1. I don’t get picked on that much because surprisingly around where I live height varies a lot. I think it matters about personality rather than height aswell and I have a lot of friends so I don’t get picked on. For me, I’d rather be short than too tall. I guess though they are mean to short girls because models are tall. And tall is like being beautiful, but I don’t agree with that.
Hey ya I haven’t really seen any tall girls being “mean” to short girls that just sounds really juvenile.
I’m short, 5′4 at 15 but I’m not self-conscious about it at all. I’ve never been teased about it.
If anything I’d say the taller girls were more self-conscious and if anything that’s why their picking on the shorter girls, jealousy, since more guys like shorter girls, just because the guy likes being the taller one.
Also tall girls can’t really hide, they stick out like soar thumbs in a crowd of short people. Short people if their feeling bad can just shrink down a little and disapear, another reason for tall people to be jelous haha.
And short people can fit into tinier places =)
easy immaturaty. girls wil be girls bitches, everyone has someone they were once mean too. but we will all grow put of it and know feelings will get hurt and know not to make fun of people.
im 5′10 and find that im always being picked on by shorter girls because of my height..in my opinion its usually shorter girls that i have come across that are envious of taller girls. id say that taller girls are definately more self concious when it comes to wearing heels and stuff like that..i suppose every1 has different opinions
Because they make fun of girls that are 1 centimeter shorter then them. O.O It builds there confidence because they have nothing else to be proud of lol. Yes, those “tall” girls are just rude.

I have never seen a tall girl delibrately put a short girl down, tho, maybe its cuz I am tall. Many tall girls are insecure about their height to some degree- I am too, so maybe this is why they do it. Many tall girls don’t want the unwanted attention attracted by their height- teh grass is always greener on the other side, so some tall girls actually want to be short.
