Get a dress that’s not cut straight across at the bottom, so that it’s either slanted or layered. Diagonal stripe patterns can also help. I know how you feel about the shoes, I’m 5′5″ and my date wasn’t much taller than me but I still wore short heels. Nowadays there are a lot of formal looking flats so you could wear those or stick to one inch heels. Hope you have a good prom.

An hour glass shape dress that is longer and slightly slug should look very good on you. Look at the victoria’s secret website for ideals. As far as shoes, most girls would die to be that tall! Wear some type of high heel strappy open toe shoes that are ****.

almost anything will go with your figure. I say a halter top dress or perhaps one that is long and lean and definatley shorter heels

PromDressShop.com gowns fit 5′9″ girls with heels. I’d wear flats which they offer at that site. A dress like this is perfect
See how the lines go to the side and not up. Lines that go up will make you look even taller. Like this one:
See how the arrows go upward and the train adds length.

As far as we know, PromDressShop.com has the longest length and choices to offer to tall girls.

If you end up being too tall, order an extra shawl and have it sewn to the bottom.
