I remember a movie with Laurel & Hardy as Stanny Dum & Ollie Dee. Silas Barnaby threatens to kick Widow Peep out of her shoe,unless her daughter, Bo-Peep, agrees to marry him. But Bo Peep loves Tom-Tom, the piper’s son, so it’s up to Stanny Dum & Ollie Dee to come to the rescue, with the life-size wooden soldiers they mistakenly made in the toy factory. Santa wanted 600 soldiers at 1 foot tall,but Stanny Dum made100 soldiers at 6 foot tall! I thought it was “Babes in Toyland”, but I couldn’t find it at the store!

    …as the film still remains within public domain (…which means several distribution companies may have their own edition), you will definitely have better success, finding it under one of it’s alternate titles, which is “March of the Wooden Soldiers”…

    It’s called ***** in Toyland but was reissued as March of the Wooden Soldiers.
