   thats not tall Im 5 9 as well but a guy and thats is short and really who cares about how tall someone is anyway, Im not going to walk up and say hey ur tall hahahahaaaa

   Who cares what others say anyway

   I know how u feel though opposite of tall though I box and people say I am to short and all that but I can knock out heavy weights twice my size, so when my opponent fall whose the one standing tall?

   Hmm.. theres no such thing as to tall.. Well, unless a girl is taller than me which would be kinda freaky..

   Nah, tall is better, i’ve been out with a 5′2 girl and i pretty much had to kneel down to hug her and stuff, it was wierd..

   I’m 5”10 and there are lots of guys who are taller than me. You don’t specify how tall the guys are who say this to you. If they’re shorter, well, yeah, I guess most guys prefer to be taller than their girl. Shallow, but true.

   most guys are intimidated by a girl that maybe taller than them and take in consideration if you wear heels. i am 5ft.8in as a example and would prefer a lady to be no taller than 5ft. 7in.therefore i do not think it would be a problem for most or any guys if they were at leadt 1 in. taller than you.

   You got it the other way around lady. I’m 5′10″ tall and I ask out tall girls and they always reject me for being too short. They say “my boyfriend has to be taller than me even when I’m wearing high heels”.
   Most guys just asume that tall girls are shallow and will only date really tall guys. Most men prefer short girls, but men are easy so a tall girl can easily still get an average height guy.

    Tall girls are beautiful. Most guys don’t like to date tall girls cause they feel threatened. They feel that if the girl is taller or as tall as them then she probably is as strong, fast, smart and for that would wear the pants in the relationship and dominate completely. Basically it is an ego thing.

    I personally rather date a tall girl.

    Guys have their own taste. You can’t blame them for looking for those qualities. Your height is perfect for me because I like tall ladies. Besides, you should not stress over the height issues because I am sure a guy like me who love tall ladies will move way into your life.

    I am 5′9 too!

    I haven’t experienced guys having a problem with my height. If any thing i have a problem with small guys because i prefer tall guys.

    I think guys mostly see short girls in everyday interactions so you may seem a bit unusual but not too much so it’s not rare for a girl to be your height I am actually also your height. Guys also like to be taller than their girlfriends don’t know why but if it is for dominance reasons then I wouldn’t want to date a guy like that anyhow. Most men I know say they prefer average height, girls average height they name is 5′4-5′5

    Well the best answer to this question in my opinion is that most guys are insecure when it comes to dating a girl that is taller than he is. To the unsecure man, height is important because it gives him a type of dominance that he feels he needs in a relationship. So really its not because you are too tall, they are just not tall enough. I personally don’t care about the height of a woman. And 5″9 is not massive. Good Luck In The Future

    I love Taylor Swift, who’s 5″11 & I’m 5″9! I don’t have a height limit, unless it makes the girl look manly. I love all girls, I like more of my size girls, who I don’t have to really reach to kiss or hug, but if they’re beautiful inside & out, what does it matter? Size doesn’t matter, it’s how you use it!

    The reason why guys dont like tall girls because they think the tallest person is in control and guys like to be in control but to me a tall girl with a short boy is cute but i would never date a short guy cuz im only 5′0” so my boyfriend taller than me but dont sweat it.

    Some guys just do not “feel masculine” if they are with a girl who is taller than they are. Just like some girls do not “feel feminine” if they are with a guy that is shorter.

    Also, it can just come down to what you like. Personally, I just do not find guys shorter than me (I am 5′6) attractive. They do not have to be really tall (as little as an inch taller is fine) just not shorter.

    My wife is 5″1, so I’d have to say tiny. I am however 6″3, and I don’t think you’re that tall.

    I don’t pay much attention to it really, but I gotta tell you that this height difference between my wife and I is killing my back. Your height would more kissing accessible.
