Plus you're calling them "babes" and just seem interested in soothing your ego and meeting girls because they're hot, not because you actually want to meet a girl. And maybe they see that. (Even if that isn't true, it's how you come off.) Putting someone else down makes you sound insecure and like a jerk, it doesn't make him seem less attractive, it makes you seem less attractive.
