Sanada Yukimura’s Legendary Braves?

I read in my eastern history class that Yukimura had Legendary braves in one book
but then I read in another book that it was a
tall tale like Paul bunyan his blue ox **** in American legends.
Did he really have a Group called Sanada’s Braves?

    Yes, if I remember correctly the Braves consisted of mostly male ninjas and one female ninja ( Kunoichi ). However, the rest of the group fell apart during the Siege of Osaka. Trust wasn’t there and the group is therefore useless. Kunoichi still accompanies Sanada Yukimura and together look for ways to communicate with the main camp, seeking the commander to come out and raise morale. The commander refuses and Yukimura is left alone with Kunoichi. Yukimura wants to die an honorable death and therefore sieges Tokugawa’s main base. Upon reaching there, Yukimura dies of pure exhaustion and Kunoichi escapes.
