Girls like tall guys because they make them feel safe?

I’ve often heard girls say that they like tall guys because they feel safer around them. But as a 6’1 guy who works out, I can honestly say that tall guys are generally a lot weaker than shorter guys. Long limbs are a physical disadvantage in weight lifting, arm wrestling,etc…So why do girls like tall guys considering this?

    i like tall guys because its better when they hug you and they can lift you up and it does make you feel safer because a short guy sees someone the same as you but someone tall girls can hide behind and noot be afraid. idk that’s just what i think.

    It might be harder for tall guys to get muscles, but it doesn’t mean they can NEVER get them. With that in mind, why wouldn’t we like tall guys?

    i know i dont like tall guys. but thts just me i guess. especially if ur short, they dont exactly make u look like a normal sized person. but i look at guys personalities more than height and things.

    I work out and I can tell you that lifting weights is not the only indicator of strength, and neither is strength the only sign of a good fighter. If you know anything about MMA, you can see that height can often be an advantage as it gives you leverage over a shorter opponent. Classic example is Tim Sylvia, who is 6’8″, versus Jeff Monson who is 5’9″ and built like a tank. Sure, Monson can bench way more than Sylvia, but he got tooled in that fight.
