Do you find this paragraph descriptive?

tall babes
Pseudonymous Sam asked:

The surprise in question, was a new student. A brunette, to be precise, with a physical stature can be said to be slightly taller than average, though still not best described as tall. Yet she was not naturally conformed to the norm in women, for she possessed a great deal of appeal – she had been neither a toothpick nor inflated; curved without offending; exhibiting confidence while devoid of exuberance or arrogance. Her lustrous hair seemed to be hand-picked by nature to compliment the radiance of her teal eyes and the clear, unmistakable skin tone of a newborn babe, neither scorched by the sun’s envious glaring nor paled by any surrender thereof. Breanna was perhaps a fitting name; for in itself it is a name of enticing beauty, albeit in a manner of modesty and elegance. Breanna by no means clamoured for undue attention, for she had an element of mystery that no sleuth could possibly uncover, and any interrogator would only go so far. It was as if she were a novel, with an old-fashioned cover of fine leather that appealed, and a story within that lacked a captivating first sentence but intrigued like few others to the end; yet, as with many other works of literature, hidden emotions and inner messages would be lost to the subconscious.
I note, the last few sentences will probably be edited into a separate paragraph later on. This is simply the description of Breanna’s physical appearance (Breanna being a character in my short story).
“exuberance or arrogance”

I’m probably going to replace that bit with “pretentiousness”
Would you mind giving me a few examples of where it could use grammatical work? You know, that’s one of the reasons I posted this question, for objective opinions on my writing.

Thanks for your answer. =)

It is very descriptive. I like some of your metaphors. It does, however, need a lot of grammatical work.
