When Mike drops the dead body to the ground he hears a voice from behind him. “What the hell are you doing?!” Mike turns to see his old best friend standing there with his eyes all black with a red dot in each eye. “I’m finishing what I started… Matt.” Matt looks straight at Mike with a look he never gave Mike. “What you started is a mess! You’re only making it worse!” “Look Matt they told me that I was evil.” Before Mike said anything else Matt yells. “You’re evil now! What happened to my best friend?!” Matt was getting angrier by the second as he spoke each word and looked at each dead body.
“Your not letting me finish, Matt. We are still friends if that is what you wish. But you must understand. I have been turned into a monster by these men, and so have you. Yet you use what they turned you into for what they want. You fight for them.” “I don’t believe in fighting for men who deserve to be punished. But this not like this Mike. They deserve to have people decide if they should be put to death or not. They have feelings like you and me too.” “No they don’t!!! If they did they would have never done this to us!” “Mike please calm down. Your power is taking control of you. You have to stop!” “No!!! I love this too much to give it up!” With one powerful push Mike makes Matt fly across the lab floor. Thus the true beginning of a battle that has been going on for as long as they were tested on.
Back years before the long war began and Mike and Matt’s fight begins they are in middle school. Gym had started and they both arrive late to class. As they try to sneak in the coach is telling the whole class about how it isn’t nice to be late that it causes others to stop what they’re doing. Both sweating and the whole class laughs.
“What is going on here people?! You think being late is funny?!” The class stops laughing almost instantly. The coach turns around and looks at Mike and Matt sweating on the floor. “Oh the Ms… so nice of you to join use here on this fine day. You know what I was saying just now to the class?” “Um how someone shouldn’t be late to class. Isn’t that right Matt?” “Yes it is. Right class?” The whole class just stare at Matt. “Well you both have that right but what did I say before that?” “Um what we were going to do today.” “Wrong! I said that if you idiots came to class today we were going to play dodge ball! Guess what it’s two against the whole class. The two against the whole class is the two of you!” “Wow that didn’t make much sense they’re going to lose.” Matt whispered.
The whole class starts getting on the left side of the gym. Both Matt and Mike know that this won’t be an even match. The Coach sets out all the balls on the middle of the gym floor. He blows the whistle and no one moves. “Come on you punks it’s all of you against them!” “Come now Coach they know better than to do that. They know they will lose.” “Well ok than. If you all think it will be that way I’ll get the high school visitors to play. Boys get you ***** out here!” Ten tall and built with muscle students come from the locker rooms. Five boys five girls. They get to the side of the class and the Coach blows the whistle one last time. Now the whole class and the high school kids come running to the line for the balls.
Both boys are surprised that their fellow students would now want to play. The balls the Coach put down are picked up by all high school students. The middle school kids back off immediately. At once all the high school kids throw the balls at the two boys. None of the boys move till the balls are close enough to catch. Mike catches a ball and a girl from the high school is out. Less than two seconds of him catching it he throws it straight at a middle school kid. “Mike only go for the high school kids! Our class mates have no choose in the matter!” “Oh yes they do. If they did they wouldn’t have ran for the balls. They knew the moment the balls were thrown that we would win that’s why they ran to the wall” “You maybe right but they didn’t mean anything by it.” “Sure! Well let’s see if there are sorry for it!”
Next thing that happens is Mike jumps in front of Matt blocking his view and than at the last moment he jumps to the side causing three balls to hit Matt. “YES! Way to go kids!” the Coach says with much pleasure. As Matt gets up from the surprising attack, and to the fact Mike would do that he stops and says “Hope your happy, Mike.” “Oh you bet I am. You can count on me to win too.” Matt dodged one last ball to get off the court. “Hey don’t you guys know when a players out or what?!” Matt began getting angry until Shea showed up. He liked her but she was going out with Mike. She looked like she was running toward Matt.
“Hey Matt what’s going on a sixth grader told me you guys were in trouble.” “Na Shea we weren’t but Mike is about to change all that. Why couldn’t he have just done the game the way we always do. Take out the bullies than let the kids get us out.” “Come on you stupid kids your in high school take me out and be done with it you’re pathetic excuse for training! You’re like a warm up for me! I know you can do better!” “He has two high school kids left and he know they are the best of the best and he won’t give up till one throws a ball so he can catch it and throw it to hit the other one but they’re smarter than that. That’s why they are high school and we’re just suppose to be younger middle school kids.”
At the moment Matt finished that sentence the boy left on the team threw the ball straight at Mike’s feet. Matt knew this would be a mistake to go for it because the girl had a ball and she would throw it the second Mike moved for it. Well he did and that’s just what she did. She threw the ball straight at his chest. The next thing people heard was a loud hard smack and a ball hitting the floor. But than there was two louder smacks. It was as if a miracle happened. Mike had caught the ball bounced back the other ball and they both rapidity hit their targets. Both high school students hit the floor holding their faces. “Serves you right to mess with me. Anyone else want to play rough? Coach?” “Mike I think that’s enough! Don’t you see it’s over man?” “Shut it Matt! This punk wants trouble well he’s getting it!” “Hey Coach what I can say you’re a good teacher. If you want to see if the master is still mightier than the student than by all means come on let us see who is better.” “Mike! Stop! What the hell has gotten into you man?!” “Hey Matt watch the language or you get a one way ticket to the dean!” “Alright Coach! Hey Mike we need to get out of here now.” “Ok let’s go now I’m tired.”
Both Matt and Mike are followed by Shea. “Hey guys still lost here! What’s going on?” “Shea did Mike ever tell you why he had to miss that date with you two weeks ago?” “Well yeah he said family emergency. But what’s that got to do with this?” “Well did you know I’m the closest thing he’s got to family and that’s not why he missed it.” “What did he miss it for? And you’re scaring me.” “Well you know how the government has been ‘claiming’ that they are not using kids for super-solider programs” “Um what are you saying. He’s going to die isn’t he? Please if you can help him help him.” “Well that’s what I’m trying to do but it’s hard when to help him when no one suppose to know what’s wrong with him.” “Well what’s wrong with him.” “Well you know how a kid gets too much sugar, right. Well the stuff they give us is basically like super sugar only we take it by shots of really long sharp needles.” “Ouch.” “Yeah ouch, well basically we get it, waste it, and we need more to keep going. He needs more he just wasted about half his share in there. I need to give him mine so he doesn’t go to a hospital.” “Wait they give you free stuff of that? Why don’t you sell it you could make a killing off of that.” “Because Shea if you heard me, even if you use it once you need more of it to keep going. Plus the government has been smart and only made enough for testers and we die if we don’t get it..” “So he’s going to die?” Tears came down Shea’s face.
“Hell no he is not dying on me like this! Not like this!” “Well were is your super sugar?” “Wait for it!” “Wait for what!” “This!” Matt’s hand starts to glow. The brighter his hand gets the livelier Mike looks. “Come on you stupid son of….” “What were you going to call me?” “I knew you would come around sooner or later.” “Still going to want to know what you were going to say.” “Hey just be glad you’re here and not dead.” “Yeah your right. Look I’m sorry what happened back there I don’t know what came over me.” “Don’t be it’s this power crap they gave us. It’s trying to control me but so far I’ve been able to control it. But I know sooner or later it’ll control me. You’re suppose to be more powerful than me and yet you fell to it. Well I am going to go leave you guys alone. Um to explain thing a bit.”
“Hey explain what?!” Matt run so fast he couldn’t hear Mike. “What’s he want me to explain.” “How you lied about missing your date two weeks ago.” “Um I can honestly explain that one.” “No you aren’t. You didn’t explain it honestly the first time!” “Look I’m sorry but if I told you why you would have broke-up with me.” “Well u should have thought about what would happen when I found out that you lied. We go out you should tell me everything. I mean everything!” “Well if I missed it for taking a **** you would be more pissed and you wouldn’t want to know about the **** part either.” “Too late Mike!” “What? Do you mean we are over? No! It can’t be! Why?” “Because you lied and I know someone who won’t lie to me.” “Who the hell is that. Everyone fears me no one will go out with you because you ‘went’ out with me.” “It’s Matt! He told me everything and I know he’s liked me since he first met me. Good-bye.” “Wait let me explain like Matt said!” Shea ran in the direction that Matt ran in.
Mike trapped in his thought. Damn it that fucker is suppose to be my best friend. He does this to me! What did I ever do to him! Nothing! Why! Why me! Damn I know he’s been lying all the time about the government. He wants my power. That’s it! I’m going with the plan the government originally offered me. But I didn’t take it because Matt thought it was too dangerous. Bullshit! It isn’t. I’m going to make him wish he left me for dead here. He will pay for this even if it takes my whole life he will pay. I swear on my mother’s grave he will pay!
“Hey Matt wait up!” “Hey Shea that was fast so how did you take it?” “I think he took it badly.” “I meant you. Knowing what I and he are you must be shocked to death. Wait he took what badly?” “Um he lied so I did what I thought to be right.” “And what is that Shea?” “I broke-up with him. To go out with you.” Shea knew Matt liked her so much if he heard this he would jump up and down but for a reason he didn’t. “Shea you just might have caused him to go psycho! Does he know you broke-up with him for me because he lied. He lied because I told him to. If you knew the government would test on you too!” “Sorry I didn’t know.” “That’s why I told you to let him talk didn’t I. To let him explain. I don’t want to go out with you now you crushed him without even letting him explain! He’ll think it’s my fault” “Stop freaking out!” “No! Go away I have to think! I need to figure out how to help him now.” “Don’t you see I did this for you.” “No you didn’t! You did this because you have been planning it and this was the perfect moment to do it.”
“How did you know that I never told anyone that at all.” “It comes with the juice ****. Get use to it if you really want me. I’m going to look for him he’ll head for the base first. I have to go and when I find him you will explain everything like you should have let him.” “What if he won’t let me explain?” “Than we are doomed.” “Doomed to what?” “His anger. He will want more power and the government will give it to him. That I might not be able to stop but I can do the same and I will be a match for him.”
Mike was already at the government base to speak with the leaders of the base. Matt was in a hurry to catch up with him but he knew that it was almost pointless to try. But he was Mike’s best friend and wanted him to know that he would be there for Mike. As they both head for the base, Shea sits in the sun looking at the ground. She was upset and didn’t know what to do in this situation. All three of them were thinking about one thing. Where would they be tomorrow.
“Hey doc wanted permanent juice and you people are going to give it to me. Like it or not.” “Mike nice to see you so early for training but you stated in your contract that you would not undergo permanent use of the power.” “Yeah doc I know what I stated in the contract but that was because Matt said something. Look Doctor Bailey I need this now more than ever please help me.” “Well I don’t know what you need it so badly for but if what you say is true than you can have the permanent power use. But you must know that if you have side effects to the normal treatments than you will have side effects to this.” “I don’t have side effects of anything doc. Just give it to me!” “Alright Mike but you are showing signs of anger. If you take this when you’re angry you’ll have side effects fast.” “I said give it to me doc. If you don’t you’ll die and I’ll take it anyways.”
“Halt right there young man! This is restricted area to civilians. I can have you arrested. State your business here.” “Lieutenant Martin I am Matt Latin of the 1st test group and request permission to go to Doctor Bailey’s test lab.” “Good move my boy. Permission granted. By the way I saw test subject Mike go by earlier and he didn’t look too happy. Any idea?” “No sir. I have no idea as to why he would be upset in anyway.”
Matt got passed the lieutenant and headed for the test lab to stop what probably already happened. But what he doesn’t know might actually save him. He thinks that Mike has already gotten the permanent power source. But really he hasn’t. Doctor Bailey would not make it so easy for him to get it. As Matt runs down the hall in a hurry Lieutenant Martin slowly follows but still keeping an eye on Matt. All these people have no idea that they are going to be fighting one another in time to come.
“Mike stop! You don’t want to do this. Trust me it might be the last thing you ever do.” Bailey gets in front the cabinet were the shots are. “Out my way doc! You can’t stop me you’re a scrawny little guy. What can you do to me? Please don’t make me laugh. Wait, you already did.” Mike starts walking toward Bailey and has a grin on his face. “You asked and you get what you ask for.” Bailey raises his arm as if ready to fire something that isn’t there. “Oh ****!” “Oh yeah kid. You asked for it so now you got it!”
Matt is about ten yards away has to stop because he hears a powerful blast coming from none other than Bailey’s lab. Lieutenant Martin doesn’t stop but picks up his pace to a running speed. Matt is surprised to see him running so fast. He is running so fast as if he is on the test juice. “Hey what the hell man! You’re on the juice aren’t you?” “Of course I am Matt. If you have my job you need it but the job you’re going to have is much more dangerous than mine.” “What does that mean? What the hell is my job?” “You’ll find out. Now we have to see what that was. Are you sure Mike is not upset?” “Well um he is but I will explain later.” “Good at least I know who that blast came from.” “Wait is Bailey on the juice?” “Yes he invented the stuff. No one thought it worked and he needed to show it did so he was his own test rat. He has the most power levels so far but you and Mike show promise to be very good power levels when you guys would be on permanent power source.” “Well I already know that.”
“Ouch, that hurt. Hope you know what you’re getting into. Doc! Where the hell is he?” “I’m right here kid.” Bailey jumps of the roof and punches Mike right through the lab doors. Martin and Matt arrive right on time to see this happen. Bailey jumps through the doorway and starts throwing Mike into the wall. “Hey get off him!” With one big jump Matt drop kick Bailey off Mike and knocks him to the ground. “Matt now I can arrest you.” “For what? He can kill him. Mike doesn’t have much power left to withstand blows like that.” “Oh really than why is he getting up.?” “Thanks Matt but I have to stop you all. Now!”
Mike gets up and knocks Matt over and reaches for Martin to punch him. But fails due to Martin moving too fast. “You might want to think about that before you do it. By the way I hope you can fly. If you can’t you’re screwed.” “Um I can’t fly.” “Well that’s too bad now isn’t it?” “You won’t hit me.” “Oh yes I will.” With one hard swing Martin hits Mike so hard he flies backwards. Little did Martin know he hit Mike in the direction he wanted to go in. As Martin checked to see if Matt and Bailey were ok, Mike got up and headed toward the permanent juice.
“Hey you guys all right?” “Yeah we will be fine. Is Mike away from my experimental juice?” “What!? It’s only experimental! I thought you were on it.” “I am but that was the first stuff. The original stuff. That stuff might be more dangerous and controlling than any of the other stuff.” “Mike, wait! Don’t do it. You could get messed up.” “It’s too late to try to say sorry Matt. It’s over and you’re dead. I swear I will kill you.” As Mike said those last words he picked up the shot and slammed it into his arm. Right on a blood vein so it would enter him system faster. He drops the shot and falls to his knees. He injected it all into his system.
“Mike! Please don’t do this man.” “Matt we have to leave him alone. If we touch him while he is in shock like that it will have more side-effects on him.” “Well that makes me feel so much better. What do we do? We can’t just let him lay there like that. He’s shaking a lot.” “We can see that. And I’m head of security here. Even if he makes it. I’m putting him under arrest.” “You can’t do that!” “You’re going too if you think this is a game.” “I don’t. But he’ll get madder in jail. That will cause him to want to really kill us all.” “Look who says he would ever get out to even trying to kill someone.” “He’ll bust out.” “Sure he will. In my jail no one has ever busted out.” “Who says you’ll even catch me to throw me in there?” “What the hell!” Everyone in the room said at once and turned to Mike.
Mike looked bigger in size. He looked older too. Muscles seem to have been there for years. Everyone knew that it worked as it should have. But does Mike have any side-effects. “Will he have self-control?” “Not likely Matt.” “Doc I’m taking him out for good. Even if you can get his DNA to see how it went wrong. He dies if he tries one more thing.” “No you can’t! He’s my best friend.” “You may do as you please Martin. It is better to get DNA samples when he is dead.” “How can you people be saying this? He is human. He doesn’t know what h would be doing that’s all.” “Matt he will have to be stopped at all cost. Even if it means killing him.” “Ha like you could anyway. I’m much bigger and stronger than you all combined.”

I am 5′11 1/2″. I like my height. I’m not unproportioned like some really tall people. I am confident and don’t feel weird at ths height. Actually the only time I really notice it is either in a photo or when another girl meets me at eye level.

I was just curios how other people honestly view me. My husband thinks it’s fine, but doesn’t really like it when I am taller than him, so that limits my shoe height to 3 inches or less. Although when I was single, I’d wear 5″ heels. But that made me 6′4″. So that was really tall.

It’s just something i find. Like my friend who is 5′3 wishes she was 5′7, when a girl i know who is 5′10 wants to be 5′5!
